I need to use more thought-provoking questioning with my classes. My objectives need to be more specific and learning-oriented rather than task oriented. Assessment should be more product-expectant rather than reguritation of facts.
My assessment should be continuous and not so formal. Also, the questions that I ask my students should require more deep thinking skills, internal reflection, and self wonder. Furthermore, my classes should revolve around a central question that is answered through sets of more specific questions.
I need to design my units with questions that my students will be more interested in answering. This way they can connect the unit with their own lives, keeping them more motivated in learning the unit.
